easter prep

I'm getting ready for Easter weekend and making some of these. 

I decided lemon cake seemed springy!  They still need their candy coating but I already tested one to make sure they'll be ok : )  you can see the directions here

I found these sweet pails at the dollar store, personalized them with a paint pen and some ribbon and we have baskets for our egg hunt.

My sweet friend brought me this hyacinth.  It smells so lovely and it will be sitting on our Easter table.

My egg wreath has found a home on the china cabinet.  It's much happier there.

it needed more eggs to keep it company so I had this join it

and I lined the base of it with leftover moss from my letter B.

When you have a mess of eggs what is three more?

maybe a moss bunny and a bird to keep one another company?

French Country Cottage 

a new wreath, maybe?

We went on a short trip to Florida for a few days.  It was really nice and our little guy did excellent on his first plane ride.  I'd say we have a rather good traveler on our hands.

Spring is springing like crazy here and I thought it was time to replace the pine cone wreath with an easter wreath.  So I spruced up a wreath from last year with some new flair but I don't know.  It just looks kinda meh....

I like it in theory but the finished product doesn't have me convinced.  It looks a little too wild perhaps?  That means there is a good chance it is coming down and it's back to the drawing board.  What do you have on your door for spring?
