put some spring in it

My egg wreath has found a home on the china cabinet.  It's much happier there.

it needed more eggs to keep it company so I had this join it

and I lined the base of it with leftover moss from my letter B.

When you have a mess of eggs what is three more?

maybe a moss bunny and a bird to keep one another company?

Now that it is so springlike and lovely out there we have to start addressing all the things that we said we'd do in the spring.  I can no longer claim it is too cold out to rake.  I don't mind doing yard work when the weather is like this so out came the rake and I cleaned the leaves that were all crammed in behind the bushes.

This photo isn't doing the situation justice.  Eight billion leaves all crammed in the forsythia and back to the house.  I was raking and enjoying the lovely weather but feeling distracted because what I really wanted to do was take this

and wrap it in this

the nap gods smiled on me today because the little guy slept on once the leaves were clear.  So I unwrapped the moss sheet and placed my B on it

I starting slowly trimming and hot gluing.  No real plan just figuring out as I went.

It was forgiving and messy.  I'd recommend taking this one outside.  So, after some cutting and some glue I had this

and with some grosgrain ribbon on the door.

The spring wreath has come inside in the dining room.  Thank you for your compliments.  I liked it but I think it was a little too little on the door.  On the china cabinet it looks lovely and once I get my Easter vignette all figured out I'll be sharing.

a new wreath, maybe?

We went on a short trip to Florida for a few days.  It was really nice and our little guy did excellent on his first plane ride.  I'd say we have a rather good traveler on our hands.

Spring is springing like crazy here and I thought it was time to replace the pine cone wreath with an easter wreath.  So I spruced up a wreath from last year with some new flair but I don't know.  It just looks kinda meh....

I like it in theory but the finished product doesn't have me convinced.  It looks a little too wild perhaps?  That means there is a good chance it is coming down and it's back to the drawing board.  What do you have on your door for spring?

Spring is springing in the northeast!  It is sooooo beautiful out today!

I got the tote I won from 21 Rosemary Lane.  I never win anything so this was big!

It's from 31 Gifts and it's adorable.  It will be perfect for lugging around all my Mommy junk this spring and summer and all those pockets will make it a great tote for an upcoming trip.

For the record I left the room and came back to find my toddler laughing hysterically inside this suitcase. 

I just want to live outside today.  Hope it is sunny and mild where you are too and you can get outside and enjoy it!
