red letter day

I thought I'd share a little letter art that I did for my son's room a while ago.

Before I added that red L this white frame cluster was lacking pizazz.   I had a little red frame sitting on a shelf in his room.  I picked up an unfinished letter from the craft store.  They are easy to find in all sizes and styles in any craft store.  Something like this

I painted the little L red and put a scrap of wrapping paper that I had in the frame.

You can see the back of the L through the glass.  As you can see I just painted the front of it then hot glued the L to the front of the glass on the frame.

I put the paper in and assembled the frame.

Super easy and adds some pop and dimension to the wall!

I'd love it if you'd follow me with GFC or linky followers, or you can subsribe via email!

  2. So simple and cute! I love it! And I love how it pops out from the white frames in the rest of the group.
